After a busy holiday performance schedule, I’m very pleased to be handling another exciting two-fer this spring!
I’ll be making my ExPats Theatre debut with the satirical TESTOSTERONE by Rebekka Kricheldorf, making its regional premiere at the Atlas Performing Arts Center March 15-April 6, 2025. A dark and funny play based on – or at least inspired by – the Grimms’ tale “The Boy Who Went Forth to Learn Fear,” it follows a family with a “Good Son” who’s sacrificed his freedom for the sake of security and a “Bad Son” who feels no fear and therefore feels free to wander the dangerous neighborhoods of the world outside the family compound. I play Raul, the “Bad Son,” whose world is turned upside down when he’s called back home to reunite with his family in Good Neighborhood. It’s an exciting and interesting play, both for its characters, ideas, and sharp dialogue, and for this being only the second English language production of it (the first being in Ithaca, NY). Learn more and get tickets on the ExPats website!
I’m also pleased to be returning to Toby’s Dinner Theatre to perform in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK as part of their youth program. Just as last year, I’ll be playing Mr. Van Daan with mostly the same cast. I really enjoyed bringing this compelling and relevant play to life for students and families last year, and am happy to be participating again. Performances run March 3-April 11, 2025 and tickets and info are available at the Toby’s website.
