This summer, I’m excited to be working on the world premiere of a new play by DC playwright Derek Hills: SHOPWORN.
In this world-premiere satire, estranged brothers – a self-righteous Brooklynite and conservative oil worker – reunite at their mother’s funeral and inherit an antique store packed with offensive inventory. See what happens when they learn their identities stand on a foundation they can’t easily throw away.
I’ll be playing Dalton, the “self-righteous Brooklynite” who’s more interested in selling his mother’s shop than working at it… until he discovers some surprises.
We play at the Orange venue, Christ United Methodist Church at 900 4th St SW, Washington, DC, and we’ve got 5 performances on July 17, 19, 22, 26, and 28 (various times). Tickets go on sale on the Fringe site on June 18!
You can get tickets and all the info about the 2018 Capital Fringe Festival on the Fringe site and performance times and more for SHOPWORN on the Shopworn site. Hope to see you there!
